On the 28th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience mostly cloudy weather, with morning fog and daytime temperatures hovering around 30 degrees Celsius.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of the North Pacific High located over the seas south of Japan. Morning lows are forecasted to range from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to reach between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius.
From early morning to around sunrise, some areas in Gwangju and Jeonnam may see fog reducing visibility to less than 1 kilometer. Waves in the coastal waters off the West and South Seas will reach about 0.5 meters, and ultrafine dust concentrations will remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "Since there is a high risk of heat-related illnesses, please stay hydrated frequently and refrain from prolonged agricultural work or working alone for extended periods."
