To ensure quick access for fire trucks and secure fire-fighting water sources in case of a fire, the district will install red covers on the curbstones of 91 fire hydrants and mark them with the message "No Parking or Stopping for Firefighting Facilities." This measure is intended to make fire hydrant locations more visually identifiable and to prevent illegal parking or stopping by drivers in advance.

Additionally, anti-slip pavement and road surface painting will be carried out over 5,610 square meters in pedestrian-concentrated areas such as intersections, school routes, and entrances within children's protection zones at 26 elementary schools, including Geukrak Elementary School and Unri Elementary School. This project will receive an investment of 330 million KRW.

Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu District, stated, "We will establish proper traffic order around firefighting facilities and continuously maintain and improve safety facilities in protection zones to thoroughly safeguard the lives and property of our citizens."
