SM Entertainment announced on the 27th that it held the youth job mentoring program 'Gunggeumessum' at its Seongsu-dong headquarters in Seoul.

This mentoring program was designed to share the experiences of current professionals in the entertainment industry with young people aspiring to work in the field, and to provide practical guidance for career planning. The event was divided into eight areas: Artists & Repertoire (A&R), IP Strategy & Operations, Merchandise Planning, Financial Closing & Accounting, HR Operations (Recruitment), General Affairs I (Business Support), General Affairs II (Department Management), and Popup Store Space Operations. Each mentor was matched with a small group of five to ten mentees.

Now in its sixth year, 'Gunggeumessum' began with a company introduction and ice-breaking session in the morning, followed by 100 minutes of small group mentoring in the afternoon. Participants commented, "Mentoring specifically tailored to the entertainment industry is rare, so it was valuable to learn how to prepare for the roles I am interested in." The mentors also said, "Conversations with passionate young people were inspiring," and expressed their hope to continue sharing on-site experiences and fostering mutual growth.
