Fasoo Updates DSPM to Support Integrated Data Management

Fasoo announced on August 26 that it has released a new version of 'Fasoo DSPM', which helps organizations manage all their data, from cloud storage to SaaS applications.

Fasoo's multi-cloud Data Security Posture Management solution, 'Fasoo DSPM', is an essential tool for efficiently managing sensitive data scattered across multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. It provides a comprehensive overview of the security status of data distributed throughout the cloud, enabling organizations to respond to vulnerabilities and comply with regulations.

It automatically detects and classifies sensitive data, including unmanaged data and personal information, and visually displays compliance status for various regulations at both the storage and data levels, allowing for thorough management of sensitive information.

Through this update, Fasoo plans to proactively address market demand by expanding organizational data management capabilities beyond cloud storage to include SaaS applications, which have often been overlooked. The new version of Fasoo DSPM will first support Google Workspace, one of the most widely used cloud applications among enterprises. Organizations using Google Workspace will be able to gain integrated visibility into data distributed across emails and drives, and strengthen security by managing sensitive data through Fasoo DSPM.

Fasoo DSPM automatically analyzes the status of personal and sensitive information within Google Workspace, allowing individual users to understand and manage their own data while enabling administrators to take integrated actions in line with compliance requirements and address security vulnerabilities. It classifies risk levels based on sharing settings, so that data requiring urgent security measures can be managed first.
