Business Agreement Signed to Foster Art-Technology Creation and Exchange
Six Organizations Join Forces to Expand the Convergence Arts Ecosystem
The Arts Management Support Center announced on August 26 that it had signed a business agreement with six organizations on the 25th to lead convergence arts policy and promote the revitalization of the ecosystem. The organizations involved in the agreement are the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation Baek Nam June Art Center, Gwangju Media Art Platform, National Asia Culture Center Foundation, Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, Hyundai Motor and Kia Zero One, and the Arts Management Support Center.
On the 25th, six organizations, including the Arts Management Support Center, signed a business agreement at Art Korea Lab to "activate the domestic convergence arts ecosystem and expand exchange and cooperation of convergence content." The signing ceremony was held at Art Korea Lab in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Attendees included Jangho Kim, CEO of the Arts Management Support Center; Namhee Park, Director of Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation Baek Nam June Art Center; Heokyung Kim, Director of Gwangju Media Art Platform; Myungkyu Kim, President of National Asia Culture Center Foundation; Hyungjong Song, CEO of Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture; and Gyuseung Noh, Executive Director of Hyundai Motor and Kia Zero One, as well as other representatives from the six organizations.
Under this agreement, the six organizations plan to cooperate in various areas to promote creation and exchange based on the convergence of art and technology and to support domestic and international expansion. Their collaboration will include: planning and operating cooperative programs for the exchange of convergence content; supporting the mutual advancement of convergence content and related organizations; facilitating personnel exchanges and the shared use of infrastructure and facilities among organizations; conducting joint marketing and both online and offline promotions; and jointly operating the 'Convergence Arts Institution Council.'
This agreement is particularly significant in that it organically connects the resources and capabilities of public institutions, private companies, and organizations based both in the capital and regional areas. Through this, it is expected that new opportunities will be provided to convergence arts creators and a sustainable foundation for their activities will be established.
Jangho Kim, CEO of the Arts Management Support Center, stated, "Through this agreement, we hope that the expertise and resources of each organization will be closely linked, thereby expanding the base of the art-technology convergence ecosystem. The Arts Management Support Center will actively support creators so that they can become competitive in both domestic and international markets."
