Cheolma Urban Agriculture Park, which officially opened in April, has been receiving positive feedback from residents by running customized programs for all age groups, from children to seniors.

In particular, by expanding opportunities for urban agriculture participation through citizen garden plot rentals and public garden education for children, the park has established itself as a representative healing space in the region.

Starting in September, new programs will be added to stimulate the emotions and creativity of county residents.

Through a variety of experiences such as an emotional craft class using plants, aromatherapy with fragrances, romantic flower arrangement, and traditional straw craft education, participating residents are expected to enjoy special moments in harmony with nature.

Applications for these programs can be submitted online (via the county website) from 9 a.m. on September 1 to 6 p.m. on September 5, and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Governor Jung Jongbok stated, "The September programs will be a meaningful opportunity to experience culture and art while being close to nature. I ask for the active interest and participation of our residents. Urban agriculture is a valuable activity that goes beyond simply growing crops, as it contributes to community restoration and improving quality of life. We will continue to develop programs that everyone can easily enjoy."
