Mona Yongpyong Appoints Park Injun as New CEO

Mona Yongpyong, the four-season premium resort (CEO Park Injun), announced on August 25 that it held a board meeting and appointed Park Injun as the new CEO.

CEO Park Injun is a resort management expert who has been recognized for his expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and overall development projects, having previously served as Executive Director, Senior Managing Director, and Vice President of Mona Yongpyong (formerly Yongpyong Resort), CEO of Sinjeong Development Investment, and Vice President of Mona Yongpyong.

He played a key role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) during Mona Yongpyong's listing on the Korea Exchange in 2016, and from 2017 to 2019, he led consecutive dividend distributions, which contributed to enhancing shareholder value and building market trust.

In particular, during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Park served as the head of the Mona Yongpyong Olympic TFT, overseeing the process of designating the resort as a special Olympic zone operator and playing a central role in the successful hosting of the event. In this capacity, he secured the occupancy of National Hospitality Centers from seven countries-the United States, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, and Slovenia-as well as global broadcasters such as NBC (USA) and Eurosport (Europe) during the Olympics, generating significant rental income and boosting the brand's value and global publicity. He also successfully negotiated individual contracts with the Olympic Organizing Committee for accommodation, athletes' village rentals, and advertising, and oversaw the Olympic athletes' village apartment sales project, achieving tangible results.

Furthermore, his successful leadership of Mona Yongpyong's premium condominium construction project demonstrated his capabilities in large-scale development and resort operations, making him a key talent who understands the company's growth process better than anyone.

New CEO Park Injun stated, "Mona Yongpyong has established itself as a leading brand in the domestic resort industry. Going forward, we will further enhance our corporate value through stable growth based on sound financials, the development of differentiated four-season content, and stronger connections with the global market. We will develop into a premium resort company that investors and the industry can trust."
