Geumsan County to Host "KBS National Singing Contest" on September 6

Participant Registration Open Until August 28

In celebration of the 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, the Geumsan County edition of "KBS National Singing Contest" will be held at Geumsan County Sports Complex on September 6 at 2:00 p.m.

The event will feature congratulatory performances by guest singers and a passionate competition among Geumsan participants showcasing their talents in entertainment. Applications to participate are open until August 28, and can be submitted in person at the Planning and Budget Division's PR Team at Geumsan County Office or at the local Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers.

However, individuals with experience in public activities such as being a professional singer or appearing on broadcast programs or music videos are not eligible to participate.

Residents from other regions may also apply, but if the number of applicants is excessive, priority will be given to Geumsan residents, business owners or employees of companies located in Geumsan, and students attending schools in the area.

The preliminary round will take place at Geumsan Sports Complex on September 4 at 1:00 p.m.

An official from the county stated, "In celebration of the 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, the beloved KBS National Singing Contest will be held in Geumsan County," and requested, "We hope for your great interest in this event."
