The Phase 2 project at the Dangjin LNG Production Base follows Phase 1 (Units 1 to 4), which completed roof installation last year. Doosan Enerbility participated as the contractor for Phase 1 and is currently working on internal processes. With this Phase 2 contract, Doosan Enerbility will be responsible for all seven storage tanks at the Dangjin base.

Doosan Enerbility also has extensive experience in constructing LNG storage tanks at other sites, including Incheon, Pyeongtaek, and Samcheok bases.

Lee Hyunho, Head of Plant EPC BG at Doosan Enerbility, stated, "Our successful experience with various LNG storage tank projects in Korea played a decisive role in winning this contract. Following Phase 1, we will ensure the smooth execution of Phase 2 as well, contributing to the stable supply of natural gas in Korea."

The Dangjin LNG storage tank construction is part of an LNG production base project being promoted to enhance the stability of LNG supply in Korea, located at the Seokmun National Industrial Complex site in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do.
