The "On-site Mayor's Office Reaching Out to Citizens," which marked its 100th session on July 18, began in July 2022 and has since been sequentially held at community centers throughout Uijeongbu City.
The 101st session took place in the small conference room on the second floor of the Songsan1-dong Community Center, where for about an hour, Mayor Kim listened attentively to various complaints and suggestions from citizens who visited the site, engaging in detailed communication.
During this session, discussions covered topics such as proposals for the reconstruction and redevelopment of the old downtown area, the expansion of rental housing supply, road repairs and drainage facility installations, measures to address flood damage caused by heavy rainfall, and requests to increase dog playgrounds.
Mayor Kim stated, "The reason why every comment from those who visit the site is important is because a suggestion from one citizen can become the starting point for solving issues that affect many others. I will continue to put effort into on-site communication going forward."
