On August 22, KCGI Asset Management announced that it will shorten the payment period for redemptions of its four overseas funds by 2 to 4 days compared to the previous timeline. Previously, it took 8 to 9 business days from redemption request to payment, but now the process will be completed in 5 to 6 business days.
The affected funds are: ▲KCGI Global High Dividend ▲KCGI Global Growth Platform ▲KCGI Global Bond ▲KCGI Global REITs, totaling four funds.
Previously, KCGI Asset Management has consistently enhanced customer convenience in fund management, such as by shortening the redemption cycle of the KCGI Ultra-Short-Term Blue Chip Bond Fund last year to next-day redemption.
A KCGI Asset Management representative stated, "This decision actively reflects investor feedback regarding the inconvenience of long redemption periods when investing in overseas funds."
For overseas funds, the redemption cycle typically takes more than a week due to factors such as time differences between countries, differing settlement structures, currency exchange procedures, and processes among related institutions. By shortening the redemption period for funds with assets such as global dividend stocks, infrastructure, REITs, and bonds, the company has improved investor convenience.
The 'KCGI Global High Dividend Fund' invests in high-quality, high-dividend stocks worldwide, aiming to achieve both stable income and long-term capital gains. It is particularly suitable for investors seeking steady cash flow in volatile markets.
