Jeonju City Philharmonic Orchestra to Present 'Youth Accompaniment Project II' on the 27th

Held at 7:30 p.m. at Deokjin Arts Center

The Jeonju City Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Artistic Director and Conductor Sung Kisun, announced on the 21st that it will present the 'Youth Accompaniment Project II' performance at Deokjin Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on the 27th to celebrate 'Culture Day in August.'

This concert is notable for featuring five young artists who are either currently enrolled in or have graduated from universities in North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province as collaborators. The aim is to support local young musicians so they can continue their artistic activities and grow.


The performance will open with Mozart's overture to 'Cos? fan tutte,' followed by Mozart's 'Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major' with violinist Han Seungmin, and Haydn's 'Cello Concerto No. 2' performed by cellist Lee Yumin.


Additionally, violist Kim Dain will perform Stamitz's 'Viola Concerto in D major, Op. 1,' soprano Jung Dasol will sing 'Pianger? la sorte mia' from Handel's opera Giulio Cesare and 'Ah, ich f?hl's' from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, and pianist Park Sunyoung will collaborate on Mendelssohn's 'Piano Concerto No. 2 in D minor, Op. 40,' among a diverse repertoire.


No Eunyoung, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Jeonju City, stated, "This performance is a valuable opportunity to share the talents of young musicians with the citizens," and added, "We hope the audience will enjoy high-quality collaborative performances up close and experience the charm of music."


Admission to this performance is free for all seats, and tickets can be reserved through the Naru Culture website or by phone.
