Sejong Facility Management Office and Forest Cooperative Sign Agreement to Create Green Environment

Cooperation to Expand Green Buffer Zones
Along National Road No. 1 in Jochiwon-eup
for a Sustainable Urban Environment

Sejong Facility Management Office and Forest Cooperative Sign Agreement to Create Green Environment Clockwise: An Jongsu, head of the Forest Cooperative; Kim Jongrak, head of the Facility Management Office.

Kim Jongrak, head of the Sejong Facility Management Office, and An Jongsu, head of the Sejong Forest Cooperative, signed a business agreement at the Forest Cooperative office on August 21, agreeing to cooperate in creating a sustainable green environment. Under the agreement, they will work to enhance the buffer green space function and improve the landscape around National Road No. 1 in Jochiwon-eup.

It is expected that enriching the green areas around National Road No. 1, which is frequently used by citizens, will not only improve the urban environment but also enhance the quality of life for residents.

In particular, the Sejong Forest Cooperative, which includes experts in forestry and landscaping, plans to provide comprehensive technical support for the entire process-from selecting tree species and pest control to fertilization and post-management of green spaces.

Additionally, the two organizations agreed to cooperate on supporting the use of park green spaces for citizens' relaxation and emotional well-being, as well as volunteering at each other's major events.
