Back to Yeongdeok! Recruiting First Round Participants for the "Blue Road Comeback" Program

Recruitment for First Blue Road Experience Program Participants
Value-for-Money Travel with Activity and Wellness Themes
Special Referral Event for Yeongdeok Blue Road Visitors

The Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation is recruiting participants for the first round of its travel program.

This initiative is part of the "2025 Region-Led Tourism Service Competitiveness Enhancement Project" and was designed to encourage non-local tourists, whose numbers declined after the large-scale wildfire disaster, to return to the Yeongdeok Blue Road by offering customized Blue Road programs.

The program, which targets individual tourists, offers great value for money, allowing participants to enjoy both themed courses for a personal participation fee of 35,000 KRW.

The first theme is an activity-based travel concept, featuring a Blue Road Course 1 trekking experience to commemorate student soldiers who perished during the Korean War and reflect on present-day peace, as well as a free surfing experience at Buhung Beach.

The second theme is a wellness travel concept, including a Blue Road Course 7 trekking experience along the largest sandy beach on the East Coast, Goraebul Beach, with its scenic ocean views, and a barefoot walking or Nordic walking experience guided by a Blue Road Gil-Dongmu, a professional trail guide.

Special events will also be held for participants in this travel program. After completing the trip, if a participant recommends the program to an acquaintance and that acquaintance joins the program, the referrer will receive a 20,000 KRW Yeongdeok Love Gift Certificate.

Each participant can refer up to two people, and the referred acquaintances must verify their participation. The program will run until October 31.

A representative from the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation stated, "We will do our best to expand customized tourism content centered on the Blue Road and, through this, secure a steady flow of tourism population in Yeongdeok."

For more details about the recruitment for the first round of participants, please refer to the announcements on the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation website. Applications can be submitted via Naver Form.
