This project involves building a large-scale logistics center in Baekam-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, with one basement level and four above-ground floors, totaling a gross floor area of 85,252 square meters. The total construction cost is approximately 112 billion won, and the construction period is 26 months.

The Baekam Logistics Center will serve as a logistics hub equipped with automated facilities and advanced equipment. Dongbu Construction plans to focus on ultra-flat floor construction, a core process in logistics center construction, to minimize errors in automated facilities. Additionally, the company will introduce advanced freezing and refrigeration systems to maximize logistics efficiency and product freshness.

Dongbu Construction explained that its experience in constructing plant facilities requiring a high degree of precision contributed to this contract win. The company has previously carried out various projects, including the Hanamaterials Asan Plant (semiconductors), the HY Nonsan Plant (food), and the Royal Canin Gimje Plant (food).

Dongbu Construction aims to further expand its presence in the private market and maintain strong performance. This year, the company's cumulative order intake amounts to approximately 2.3 trillion won, with an order backlog of about 10.9 trillion won as of the first half. Most recently, Dongbu Construction secured the construction of ancillary facilities at the SK Hynix Cheongju 4 Campus, further expanding its order portfolio into the advanced industrial facility sector.

A Dongbu Construction official stated, "Our achievements in private plant and advanced industrial facility projects demonstrate the fruition of our technological capabilities and business diversification strategy," adding, "We will continue to secure competitive projects to ensure stable profitability and maintain sustainable growth."
