Personalized One-on-One Counseling and Final Study Strategies
for Regular Admissions Ahead of the CSAT
With approximately 80 days remaining until the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), Daejeon City will host the 'Parents' College Admission Academy'.
Daejeon City will hold the 'Parents' College Admission Academy' sequentially in each district: Dong-gu on September 13, Yuseong-gu on September 14, Seo-gu on September 20, Daedeok-gu on September 21, and Jung-gu on September 27.
In the morning session (9:20 AM to 12:30 PM), current teachers from the Daejeon College Entrance Support Group, under the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, will analyze each examinee's personal academic data and provide one-on-one counseling on potential universities and study strategies.
Twenty-five teams per district (30 minutes per team) will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens at 2:00 PM on August 25 and can be completed via QR code or the advance reservation website.
Starting at 1:30 PM, EBS lead instructors Yoon Yoonkoo or Jung Dongwan (instructors vary by district) will give in-depth lectures on the 2026 CSAT trends, regular admission strategies, and changes in the college entrance system. The program is especially meaningful as it goes beyond simply providing information, offering guidance on how to establish data-driven admission strategies.
Lee Kiyoung, Director of the Daejeon City Library, stated, "This is a time when both students and parents are feeling especially anxious. I hope this academy will help alleviate concerns, accurately address any shortcomings, and serve as a stepping stone to positive outcomes."
