Geumsan Ginseng Products on Display and Sale
Hands-on Programs Including Ginseng Liquor Bottle Making
Geumsan ginseng will be showcased at the Museumsuferfest, Europe's largest comprehensive cultural festival, held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Geumsan County will participate in the festival from August 29 to 31, promoting "Geumsan Ginseng" and the "Geumsan World Ginseng Festival."
During the festival, Geumsan County will operate a promotional booth where they will display and sell Geumsan ginseng products and offer hands-on programs such as making ginseng liquor bottles.
In addition, there will be demonstrations of foods and desserts made with ginseng, such as ginseng short rib patties and red ginseng yogurt, to highlight the excellence of Geumsan ginseng and promote the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival.
Furthermore, the county will organize a delegation led by Geumsan Deputy Governor Heo Changdeok, who will visit from August 26 to September 2 to oversee the promotional booth and pursue a Pan-Asia business agreement.
Pan-Asia is a major trading partner actively engaged in regions including Asia and Europe, and through this agreement, Geumsan aims to strengthen the global presence of Geumsan ginseng in the international market.
Additionally, the delegation plans to visit the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Frankfurt, the Chungnam Province Germany Office, the KOTRA Frankfurt Trade Center, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) Germany branch to discuss promotion, exports, and exchanges related to the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival.
A county official stated, "By participating in this festival held in the cultural heart of Germany, we are launching global promotion of Geumsan ginseng and the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival," adding, "We will do our utmost to strengthen cooperation with relevant organizations to expand into the European market through the operation of our promotional booth."
