Hanju ART's 'Daegu Ilsek' to Open Directly Operated 'Boramae Park Branch' in September... Accelerating Nationwide Expansion

Hanju ART announced on August 20 that it plans to open the second directly operated store of its premium Daegu-tang specialty brand, 'Daegu Ilsek', at Boramae Park in September. With this new store opening, the company aims to accelerate the expansion of its stores in the Seoul metropolitan area and actively pursue franchise business development.


Daegu Ilsek features Daegu-tang made with cod neck meat as its main menu, and also offers a variety of products including hot pot, steamed dishes, takeout, and delivery. Cod is attracting attention as a healthy food ingredient due to its low fat and high protein content, as well as its nutritional value and digestibility.


The first store, Seocho branch, which opened earlier this year, established the brand’s premium image as a large-scale premium location. The second store, Boramae Park branch, will serve as a small and medium-sized store model with reasonable investment costs and efficient space utilization, and is planned to be used as the standard model for future franchise expansion.


The Boramae Park branch will enhance customer convenience by establishing a pleasant store environment and a rapid service system, targeting the floating population from nearby parks, hospitals, residential areas, and office clusters.


A company representative stated, "The second directly operated store will serve as a base to validate the standard operating manual and logistics/cooking system in practice, and marks the official start of our franchise business expansion," adding, "We will pursue nationwide expansion while maintaining our brand philosophy and quality standards."


Hanju ART, leveraging over 15 years of expertise from successfully operating the 'Kkotmareum Shabu-shabu' dining franchise, is now recruiting Daegu Ilsek franchisees nationwide. Franchise owners will be provided with ▲ supplied prepped cod neck meat ▲ easy-to-follow cooking manuals ▲ brand marketing support ▲ operational consulting, supporting a stable revenue structure. The company also plans to accelerate nationwide expansion through continuous menu development and service innovation.
