Ladyburn is known as a "legacy" shaped by time and precision, made from whisky discovered by chance at a distillery that operated for only nine years after its establishment in 1966 before closing. Aged for over 50 years in American oak barrels, it features a golden amber hue and is considered an ultra-rare whisky, with only a very limited number of collections available worldwide.

The Ladyburn Ha Chong-Hyun Edition will be released in a limited quantity of just 10 collections, with each collection consisting of 10 bottles. The pieces are themed around "Conjunction," a series from the 1970s that best represents the artist's essence, and were selected directly by Ha Chong-Hyun and the Kukje Gallery. The edition will be available at "The Distillers Library," the luxury whisky boutique and lounge on the first floor of Seoul Shilla Hotel.

Born in 1935, Ha Chong-Hyun is a master of Korean Dansaekhwa whose works are held in major museums across Asia, Europe, and the United States. His signature "Conjunction" series, which began in 1974, is an iconic technique in which paint is applied to the back of the canvas and allowed to seep through the weave of hemp cloth, creating a tactile and sculptural structure.
