Korean Bar Association and Hanwha General Insurance
Sign Business Agreement to
Institutionalize Insurance in Legal Services
and Enhance Public Rights
The Korean Bar Association (President Kim Jungwook) signed a business agreement with Hanwha General Insurance Co., Ltd. (CEO Na Chaebeom) on August 19. The agreement aims to establish a foundation for insurance services and build an ecosystem.
This business agreement between the two organizations is intended to promote and institutionalize the adoption of insurance in legal services, thereby improving access to lawyers and enhancing the rights and interests of the public. The Korean Bar Association plans to use this agreement as a stepping stone to institutionalize insurance services and to pursue various initiatives. Attending the signing ceremony from the Korean Bar Association were President Kim Jungwook, Secretary General Kim Sanghee, Senior Executive Director for Political Affairs Lee Yongmyeong, and Executive Director for Business Shin Kyungcheol. From Hanwha General Insurance, CEO Na Chaebeom, Vice President Seo Jihoon, Head of Legal Team Yoon Sojung, and Head of Marketing Promotion Team Kim Younggyu were present.
President Kim Jungwook stated, "I hope this collaboration goes beyond a simple service connection and becomes an important starting point for the institutional integration of insurance into legal services in our society." He added, "We will do our best to protect the rights and interests of the public and to contribute to society."
