Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Pocheon Hospital (Director Baek Namsun) announced on the 19th that it received a Grade 1 rating in the "1st Imaging Test Appropriateness Assessment" recently released by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.

The imaging test appropriateness assessment was conducted on 1,694 medical institutions nationwide that performed imaging tests such as CT, MRI, and PET on inpatients and outpatients from July to September 2023.
Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Pocheon Hospital achieved a comprehensive score of 93.5 points based on evaluation indicators such as the rate of pre-contrast agent use patient assessments, the rate of pre-MRI patient assessments, and the use of radiation reduction programs. This outstanding score significantly exceeds the national average of 67.6 points among 1,694 medical institutions, earning the hospital a Grade 1 rating.
Director Baek Namsun stated, "Imaging tests are a crucial process in determining diagnosis and treatment direction," and added, "We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality medical services that ensure the accuracy and safety of imaging tests."
