Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton has officially opened its restaurant, 'Le Cafe Louis Vuitton,' in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, marking its expansion into the food and beverage (F&B) business. According to industry sources on August 19, Louis Vuitton Korea is set to open its first restaurant inside its Cheongdam flagship store, 'Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul.' This restaurant is the first permanent gourmet space that Louis Vuitton has introduced in Korea.

The official opening date is September 1, and Louis Vuitton has been accepting reservations through Catch Table since August 18. While Louis Vuitton has previously operated restaurants in Korea as pop-up stores, this is its first permanent restaurant. Chef Yoon Taegyun is in charge of the gourmet direction at Le Cafe Louis Vuitton. The menu will feature French cuisine infused with Korean flavors. Signature dishes include: ▲ Beef Dumplings (48,000 KRW) ▲ Yuzu Caesar Salad with Eclipse Chicken (40,000 KRW) ▲ Pear Shallot (29,000 KRW). In the released promotional photo, the exterior of the beef dumplings is decorated with Louis Vuitton’s monogram pattern.

Louis Vuitton has filled the restaurant interior with a variety of publications to provide visitors with cultural inspiration. Herm?s operates 'Cafe Madang' in the basement of Maison Dosan Park, Christian Dior runs 'Cafe Dior' in Cheongdam and Seongsu, and Italian luxury brand Gucci has also launched the contemporary restaurant 'Gucci Osteria Seoul.'
