Specialized Accelerators and Tailored Growth Support
The Yongin Industry Promotion Agency in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for companies to move into its Artificial Intelligence (AI)·Semiconductor Specialized Center and Biohealth Specialized Center until August 26.
Since last year, the agency has been operating the AI·Semiconductor Specialized Center in Yeongdeok-dong, and this year, it launched the Biohealth Specialized Center in Dongbaek-dong to discover promising startups in these fields.
Resident companies will receive a range of benefits, including office space, business development support, investment connections, and networking opportunities. KingoSpring Co., Ltd. is responsible for accelerating companies in the AI·semiconductor sector, while KAIST Venture Investment (KVI) is in charge of the bio·healthcare sector. Each provides tailored growth strategies, professional mentoring, investor connections, and demo days.
Eligible applicants include prospective entrepreneurs and companies less than seven years old operating in all areas of biohealth, such as digital healthcare, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals·biotech, as well as those in AI·semiconductor-related industries. The agency is recruiting for three offices at the AI·Semiconductor Specialized Center and seven offices at the Biohealth Specialized Center.
