Participation from 11 Countries Including Singapore and Malaysia
Exhibition of Home-use and High-efficiency Air Conditioners
Continued Expansion of Large-scale Facility B2B HVAC Business

Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions at an Asian conference.

On August 17, Samsung Electronics announced that it had showcased its HVAC solutions at the 'ASHRAE Region XIII Chapters Regional Conference 2025,' an Asia HVAC conference held at the Suwon Convention Center from August 15 to 16.

The Asia HVAC Conference, hosted by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), which boasts a history of over 100 years, is a gathering where experts in the field come together to discuss the future of HVAC technologies.

This year's conference brought together participants from a total of 11 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, to present the latest technologies and products in the HVAC sector.

At the conference, Samsung Electronics exhibited its home-use system air conditioner '1Way Cassette' and its high-efficiency system air conditioner 'DVM' products.

This year, Samsung Electronics launched a new 1Way cassette-type system air conditioner model featuring built-in Wi-Fi and a compact design in Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The 1Way product released in Southeast Asia comes equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, enabling support for SmartThings and Bixby without the need to purchase a separate Wi-Fi kit. In addition, users can control air conditioner functions such as indoor temperature and humidity through Bixby, and utilize 'AI Saving Mode' to reduce energy consumption by up to 20%.

The model uses R32 refrigerant, which has a global warming potential (GWP) approximately 32% that of the conventional R410A refrigerant.

Samsung Electronics is continuously expanding its B2B HVAC solutions business in Southeast Asia-including Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia-focusing on large-scale facilities such as premium residential complexes, public facilities, luxury resorts, and hotels.

Last year, sales of Samsung Electronics' system air conditioners in the Southeast Asian market increased by more than 20% compared to the previous year, with sales of the 1Way Cassette model surging by over 35%.

Baek Hyesung, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics' DA Division, stated, "We will continue to further strengthen our HVAC business not only in Southeast Asia but also in all global markets, based on our unique technology and smart connectivity experience."
