Kiaf PLUS highlights experimental and witty works
Emerging and international galleries lead new trends
Expanding the boundaries of contemporary art through diverse perspectives
The 'Kiaf PLUS' section, featuring experimental and witty works, will be introduced at the art fair Kiaf SEOUL 2025, which will be held at COEX in Seoul from September 3 to 7. Out of a total of 175 participating galleries, 19 galleries will take part in this section, offering a unique visual experience.
Launched in 2022, 'Kiaf PLUS' is a flagship section that embodies the youthful and dynamic spirit of contemporary art that Kiaf SEOUL pursues. This year, a total of 19 galleries will participate, including domestic galleries such as Rahin, Tio, LKIIF, and Hue, as well as international galleries like Artemin Gallery (Taipei), MAAT Gallery (Paris), hide gallery (Tokyo), and TSUTAYABOOKS (Tokyo). Unlike the 'GALLERIES' section, which is centered on major galleries, 'Kiaf PLUS' focuses on discovering emerging artists and showcasing experimental works.

Additionally, Gallery Dasun will showcase Gochabun's 'House in Relief,' which reconstructs the home as a psychological landscape through textured, sculpted paint surfaces. TheBridge Gallery, an emerging Paris-based gallery founded in 2023, serves as a platform connecting cultures and generations. At this year's Kiaf, it will present experimental works by Dale Lawrence, who deconstructs repetitive language and everyday gestures, combining poetic texts and objects.
