Government Employees Pension Service Conducts Safety Inspections for Second Half Retirement Preparation Training

The Government Employees Pension Service announced on August 13, 2025, that it will conduct safety inspections of its educational facilities in preparation for the retirement preparation training scheduled for the second half of 2025.

This inspection, which aims to create an optimal educational environment and ensure the safe operation of the training, was carried out at the Suanbo Sangnok Hotel the previous day and will also take place at the Cheonan Sangnok Hotel on August 14.

The Service plans to conduct advance safety checks of accommodation, lecture halls, and other educational facilities, as well as field trip locations included in the training program, in accordance with its internally established "Lifelong Education Safety Management Manual."

Kim Inju, Director of Welfare Operations at the Government Employees Pension Service, stated, "We recognize that retirement preparation training is more than just an educational program; it is a valuable time for participants to prepare for a new chapter in life after retirement. We will do our utmost to ensure that participants can receive training in a safe and comfortable environment through these safety inspections."

The retirement preparation training for the second half of 2025 will be provided to 5,000 government employees who are about to retire, running from August 18 to December 4. The curriculum will cover 12 fields, including future planning and reemployment, and is designed to support successful retirement and stable post-retirement planning for retiring public officials.
