The 'DMZ OPEN Concert' is an event designed to relieve the tension and pain associated with the DMZ through music at this historically significant site, and to reflect on the meaning of peace through performances and videos by popular artists. The aim is to promote the peaceful value of the DMZ and to transform it from a 'closed space that cannot be crossed' into an 'open space of inspiration and solidarity.' At the same time, the event seeks to provide residents with broader access to cultural experiences.

Tickets for the 'DMZ OPEN Concert' will be available for reservation through Ticketlink starting at 2 p.m. on August 13.

This year's concert will feature a variety of popular artists across different genres, including the emotionally resonant balladeer Sung Si-kyung, the powerful performer Jeon Somi, the dynamic stage presence of MZ Generation icon Lee Youngji, the refreshing girl group UNIS, the next-generation boy group 8TURN with a global fandom, and the fifth-generation super rookie YOUTHFIA, all promising to deliver memorable and moving performances.

In addition to the main concert, interactive programs such as making peace cheering sticks, tattoo stickers, and photo zones will be available for attendees to enjoy, adding to the excitement of the event.

All tickets are free of charge (excluding reservation fees) and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The venue will be divided into a Special Zone and a Picnic Zone. Special Zone attendees will receive immersive items such as moon glasses and a paper table and chair set.

Woo Byungbae, Director of Peace and Cooperation at Gyeonggi Province, said, "We hope this will be a time for everyone to experience the resonance of peace amid the nature and history of the DMZ."
