President Lee Jaemyung will hold a dinner meeting on August 12 with Jeong Cheongrae, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Park Chandae, a Democratic Party lawmaker.
Kang Yujeong, spokesperson for the presidential office, announced this to the press on the same day. The dinner will take place at President Lee's official residence. Kang Hunsik, Chief of Staff at the presidential office, will also attend.
This marks the first official meeting between President Lee and Leader Jeong since the recent Democratic Party primary.
