Delivering Commitment to Integrity Across All Areas Including Contracts, Subsidies, and Permits
Jindo County in South Jeolla Province has sent "Integrity Letters" to approximately 3,300 civil petitioners over the past year, aiming to strengthen integrity in key administrative areas such as contracts, subsidies, finance, taxation, and permits.
The letters outline the procedures and methods for reporting any unfair practices or acts of corruption that may occur during the handling of civil petitions, and reflect Jindo County's strong commitment to building a trustworthy administration.
On August 12, Governor Kim Heesu stated, "We will foster an upright public service culture and put our determination into practice, so that all residents can experience and trust in an honest Jindo."
Meanwhile, the county has achieved Grade 2 in the Comprehensive Integrity Assessment of Public Institutions for two consecutive years, and this year is also implementing a variety of integrity initiatives, including integrity training for public officials, anti-corruption and integrity improvement briefings and campaigns, "one department, one integrity practice" activities, and the implementation of anti-corruption system improvements.
