Plan to Arrest and Investigate Upon Return from Vietnam
Kim Yesung, known as the 'butler' of Kim Gunhee, is reportedly scheduled to return to Korea on August 12 in the afternoon.
According to Yonhap News Agency on August 11, Kim is expected to arrive at Incheon International Airport at around 4:25 p.m. Korean time on August 12, after boarding a Vietnam Airlines flight from Vietnam at 9:15 a.m. local time.

The special prosecutor's team reportedly plans to immediately arrest Kim upon his actual arrival, transfer him to the special prosecutor's office, and begin questioning him.
Kim is a central figure in the so-called 'Butler Gate.' The main allegation is that IMS Mobility, a rental car company in which Kim, known as the butler for Kim Gunhee's family, participated in founding and holds shares, unfairly received 18.4 billion won in investments in 2023 from Kakao Mobility, Shinhan Bank, and others.
After departing for Vietnam in April, Kim consistently refused to comply with the special prosecutor's summons. The special prosecutor's team regarded this as an act of fleeing, and initiated procedures to invalidate Kim's passport and request an Interpol Red Notice.
