In areas experiencing rainfall, gusty winds or thunder and lightning may also occur.
The expected precipitation is 20 to 60 millimeters for the Jeonnam coast and the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions (with some areas receiving more than 80 millimeters), 10 to 60 millimeters for Jeju Island, 5 to 40 millimeters for inland Gwangju and Jeonnam as well as Daegu and Gyeongbuk, around 5 millimeters for Chungcheong, and less than 5 millimeters for central and southern Gangwon.
Morning lows are forecast to range from 19 to 24 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius, which is similar to the seasonal average. Tropical nights are expected in some areas, especially on Jeju Island and along the coasts, so extra care should be taken for health management.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide due to favorable atmospheric dispersion and rainfall.
Wave heights are expected to range from 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. In offshore waters (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea.
