Recently, Jeondong-myeon in Sejong City was designated as a special disaster area by the government, while the neighboring administrative district, Jeonui-myeon, was not. Although Jeonui-myeon suffered damage from heavy rainfall comparable to that of Jeondong-myeon, it did not meet the legal requirements for the designation.

Against this backdrop, the Sejong Credit Guarantee Foundation delivered emergency daily necessities to the Jeonui-myeon Administrative Welfare Center to assist flood victims affected by the heavy rain.

This initiative was part of an employee donation-based social contribution activity, aimed at helping residents who lost their livelihoods due to flooding of homes in the Jeonui-myeon area to quickly return to their daily lives.

The foundation provided essential food items worth a total of 500,000 won, using the 'Angel Fund' voluntarily raised by its employees. Four people, including Chairman Kim Hyomyung, participated in the support activities.

Kim Hyomyung, chairman of the foundation, said, "I hope this will provide some support to residents struggling with the sudden floods," adding, "We will continue to engage in various social contribution activities that promote mutual growth with the local community."
