World Comedy Artists Gather Across Busan from August 29 to September 7

BNK Busan Bank (President Seongbin Bang) delivered a sponsorship fund of 50 million KRW to the Busan International Comedy Festival Organizing Committee at the Busan Bank headquarters on the afternoon of the 11th to support the successful hosting of the 13th Busan International Comedy Festival.

The Busan International Comedy Festival is Asia's first international comedy festival and has been held continuously since 2013 with the goal of developing comedy content and revitalizing Korea's comedy industry.

This year marks the 13th edition of the festival, which will be held for 10 days from August 29 to September 7 at performance venues across Busan, including the BEXCO Auditorium. In particular, leading Korean comedians and more than 40 teams from over 10 countries around the world are scheduled to participate, offering a variety of entertaining and lively performances.

Busan Bank has supported the Busan International Comedy Festival since its inaugural event and will continue its support this year to ensure the stable operation of this representative local cultural event and to expand cultural enjoyment for citizens.

Seongbin Bang, President of Busan Bank, stated, "I hope this representative cultural festival of Busan will bring even greater joy as it is enjoyed together with citizens," and added, "We will continue to work steadily to enhance Busan's status as a cultural city and to promote local cultural development."
