Debut at "Daejeon 0 O'Clock Festival"... 3,400 Boxes Sold in 3 Days
"Unable to Keep Up with Demand"
The "Kkumdori Hodugwaja," which made its debut at this year's "Daejeon 0 O'Clock Festival," has been enjoying remarkable popularity at the event site.
During the three days of the festival, a staggering 3,400 boxes were sold, demonstrating explosive demand.
Although the team can produce a maximum of just over 1,000 pieces per day and has been working through the night to keep up, on-site reports indicate that "supply is unable to meet the increased demand."
Daejeon Mayor Lee Jangwoo commented, "It is highly meaningful in many ways that the walnut pastries, crafted with care by young people participating in the Daejeon Youth Self-Support Project Group, have become so popular." He added, "We need to consider whether to continue offering only the walnut pastry or to add two or three more products to the lineup."
