Silla University (President Heo Namsik) has achieved the highest rating in the University Innovation Support Project performance evaluation.
The University Innovation Support Project is an initiative aimed at providing high-quality university education and fostering future talent. A total of 138 universities nationwide are participating, and performance ratings are determined based on two main areas: each university's efforts to promote educational innovation and their internal performance management.
In this evaluation, Silla University received an 'S grade' in the educational innovation performance category for its operation of a major autonomy selection system to expand students' options for success, development of a convergence-based curriculum and roadmap considering career design, operation of an AI-based integrated learning and career support system, establishment of a multi-domain integrated support system to prevent student dropout, and development and operation of a learning experience platform (LXP) and adaptive learning management system.
In the internal performance management category, the university was awarded an 'A grade' for the strong linkage between autonomy indicators and educational innovation tasks, systematic operation of performance measurement and feedback systems, establishment of an efficient performance management organization, and the formulation of innovative strategies based on performance sharing and communication among members.
President Heo Namsik of Silla University stated, "This achievement is a valuable result accomplished by all members of Silla University together, and it is recognition of the university's innovation capabilities and student-centered educational philosophy. Through sustainable educational innovation, we will nurture creative and convergence-driven talent required by the future society and become a university that grows together with the local community."
Having attained the highest rating in both categories, Silla University plans to further advance its flexible academic system and customized career support framework based on these results. The university also aims to expand its AI and data-driven smart learning ecosystem to strengthen a learner-centered educational environment, and will continue to pursue educational innovation that prioritizes student growth and success.
A Silla University official said, "To realize the university's vision of fostering creative and convergence-driven talent who grow with the local community and lead the global society, we will implement sustainable innovation strategies across educational innovation, performance management, and comprehensive student support."
