A Moving Stage with the Theme of "Dance of Light, Breath of Liberation"
Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province held the "80th Anniversary of Liberation Commemoration Ceremony and Special Performance" on August 8 at the Eungsang Culture and Sports Center. The event, organized by the Yangsan Branch of the Gwangbokhoe South Gyeongsang Chapter, aimed to honor the spirits of independence movement patriots and to reflect on the spirit of the independence movement.
This year's special performance, themed "Dance of Light, Breath of Liberation," was designed to shed new light on lesser-known independence activists from Yangsan and to widely share the stories of their lives and dedication.
The event began with the special performance, followed by the commemoration ceremony and a traditional performance. Over 200 people attended, including members of the Gwangbokhoe, city and provincial council members, heads of various organizations and institutions, and local citizens.
