Korea Design Membership Plus Project Successfully Concluded
Hankook Tire and Korea Institute of Design Promotion Collaborate on Future Mobility AI Scenarios
Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 11th that it has successfully concluded the design industry-academia cooperation project 'Korea Design Membership Plus' in partnership with the Korea Institute of Design Promotion.

This project, now in its third year, was held under the theme '2030 Mobile AI Scenario.' Participants were tasked with proposing AI-based mobile product ideas that could be utilized in specific spaces, based on future technology analysis and usage environment predictions.
A total of 27 university students majoring in design from the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions participated, forming six teams. Over approximately 13 weeks since May, they carried out a practical project to plan actual product concepts and develop their designs, receiving mentoring from Hankook Tire’s in-house designers and utilizing the company’s design assets.
The final presentations and awards ceremony were held on the 8th at Hankook Tire headquarters 'Technoplex.' The grand prize went to Team Greentier, which proposed a new concept by combining smart farm and autonomous driving technologies for weekend farms.
A Hankook Tire representative stated, "Through ongoing industry-academia cooperation with the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, we plan to discover creative ideas for the future mobility industry, strengthen exchanges with promising talents in the design field, and expand global-level design partnerships."
