The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on the Gaza Strip on the morning of August 6, 2025 (local time), resulting in the deaths of 18 people.
According to major foreign media outlets including Al Jazeera, a treatment center operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza City in northern Gaza, as well as civilian homes in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, were attacked on this day. The airstrike reportedly resulted in 18 fatalities.
Prior to the airstrike on the UN treatment center, the Israeli military issued an evacuation warning to the nearby area. However, it was reported that the military did not explain the reason for the airstrike.
The Israeli military has continued its airstrikes, stating that the Palestinian armed group Hamas uses hospitals, schools, and refugee camps as command and control centers.
