With this funding, Hanam City plans to focus on investing in projects closely linked to daily life, aiming to resolve inconveniences faced by residents and enhance their quality of life.

The major projects include: ▲ Construction of Hanam Children's Traffic Park (600 million KRW), ▲ Installation of Beolmalcheon Pedestrian Bridge (1.2 billion KRW), ▲ Construction of an access road to Deokpunggul hiking trail (400 million KRW), ▲ Improvement of sidewalks on Misa Culture Street (800 million KRW), and ▲ Renovation of the outdoor performance hall and surrounding areas at Hanam Culture and Arts Center (150 million KRW).

The details of these projects are as follows. First, the "Hanam Children's Traffic Park Construction Project" will be implemented. By establishing hands-on traffic safety education infrastructure, which has been lacking in the eastern region of Gyeonggi Province, the project will provide local children with practical safety education opportunities.

Projects to strengthen citizen safety will also be actively pursued. The "Deokpunggul Hiking Trail Access Road Construction Project" will install deck stairs and deck roads on a previously unpaved slope, which is used as a school route by nearby elementary students, thereby creating a safer pedestrian environment.

In addition, through the "Beolmalcheon Pedestrian Bridge Installation Project," a pedestrian bridge crossing the stream will be built in Beolmalcheon Waterfront Park No. 2. This will resolve walking inconveniences within the residential development district and improve mobility for those with limited walking ability.

Improvements to public convenience facilities will also be made. The "Misa Culture Street Sidewalk Improvement Project" will address frequent complaints about damaged sidewalk blocks since the area was designated a specialized street in 2021, providing a safer and more pleasant walking environment.

Alongside these, the "Hanam Culture and Arts Center Renovation Project" will refurbish the aging outdoor performance hall and its surroundings, transforming it into a space that meets the growing cultural demands of residents.

Mayor Lee Hyunjae stated, "Despite challenging financial conditions, we were able to secure valuable funding for our citizens thanks to the active cooperation of provincial assembly members," and added, "This special adjustment grant will serve as an important foundation for increasing residential satisfaction among Hanam citizens."

He further remarked, "We will continue to focus on securing external funding for projects that have a tangible impact on citizens, and will do our utmost to implement these projects quickly so that residents can experience positive changes as soon as possible."
