Osu Park Golf Course, which covers a total area of 43,350 square meters and features 27 holes (three courses of nine holes each), has been praised for its open fields and refreshing riverside scenery. The course attracts visitors from all over the country, with more than 4,000 people visiting each month.

Recently, not only enthusiasts from nearby areas in North Jeolla but also those from the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region have been visiting in increasing numbers thanks to word of mouth. The course is particularly lively with family visitors and senior golfers.

Park golf, a compound term combining "park" and "golf," originated in Japan in 1983. It is a sport characterized by simple rules, low equipment costs, and short playing times, making it easily accessible to people of all ages, not just seniors. In particular, its focus on walking provides excellent aerobic exercise, which helps maintain health and promotes mental stability.

Osu Park Golf Course offers a pleasant park-like environment with natural grass courses, outdoor restrooms, shelters throughout the grounds, and abundant landscaping. Maintenance is systematically managed, including repair work and the installation of safety nets in areas where the turf has been damaged.

Even visitors who arrive alone can form teams on the spot and play together, making the course a space for interaction and communication. A round of 27 holes for a team of four takes about two hours and covers a walking distance of four kilometers, making it notable for its aerobic exercise benefits.

Local park golf enthusiasts actively participate in monthly club tournaments and inter-club competitions, and the park golf course is becoming a venue for community unity.

This year, the ImsilN Cheese Cup Park Golf Tournament is scheduled to be held at Osu Park Golf Course from October 8 to 9, with a first-place prize of 10 million won each for both men and women in the finals.

Registration for the preliminary rounds is open until the 7th, and further details can be obtained by contacting the Imsil-gun Park Golf Association. Osu Park Golf Course is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed every Monday), and both phone reservations and on-site registration are available.

County Governor Sim Min stated, "Osu Park Golf Course is a sports facility that not only promotes healthy leisure activities but also attracts tourists from other regions," adding, "We will continue to work toward revitalizing the local economy by expanding facilities and attracting national tournaments."
