On August 5, Suncheon City in South Jeolla Province (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) signed a business agreement with Woojutec Co., Ltd. (CEO Heo Minsoo) in the city hall meeting room to promote the ecological healing industry and walking culture.
'Suncheonman National Garden' is the first national garden in South Korea and serves as a symbolic garden that acts as the hub of nature in Suncheon. The city became the first among all basic local governments nationwide to collaborate with Woojutec Co., Ltd., which operates the Le Mouton footwear brand, in an effort to create new urban brand value.
Through this agreement, both parties agreed to: ▲collaborate on various promotional activities to encourage walking culture; ▲provide mutual support for the use of facilities within the garden and for walking events; and ▲enhance the brand content image.
Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu stated, "This agreement is the first step and a significant turning point toward becoming a city of garden-based healing industries," and added, "We will develop various collaborative models in which the garden's healing role and the company's brand value are aligned, enabling both the company and the local community to thrive together."
