Various Programs Including Busking Road
Yeosu City in Jeollanam-do (Mayor Jung Kimyung) announced on the 5th that it will host the '2025 Yeosu Night Sea Romantic Busking Festival' on August 15 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM in the Marine Park area.
This event has been organized to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Yeosu Night Sea Romantic Busking' and to provide citizens and tourists with a special opportunity to enjoy cultural experiences on summer nights during the Liberation Day holiday.
The festival will feature a variety of programs, including the 'Busking Road' with a total of 30 teams, an opening ceremony, special busker performances, and EDM performances.
In particular, the opening ceremony, which will take place at 8:00 PM, will include the screening of a commemorative video and a 10th anniversary performance. This will be a time to look back on the past 10 years and share the future of Romantic Busking with the citizens.
The city plans to use this festival to revitalize the local street art culture and further strengthen the brand value of Yeosu as a 'Busking City.'
A city official stated, "This festival is a special stage that goes beyond simple performances, presenting Yeosu's unique street cultural performance brand in the form of a festival," and added, "We hope that citizens and tourists will come together to enjoy the romance and artistic sensibility of Yeosu."
Meanwhile, buskers who wish to participate in the 'Busking Road' program can apply until August 10.
