The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on August 5 that they are conducting a search and seizure at Shin's residence.
Shin has been identified as one of the masterminds behind the Seobu District Court riot, along with Pastor Jun Kwanghoon of Sarang Jeil Church.
The police plan to collect evidence regarding Shin's involvement in the Seobu District Court riot.
