The US Department of Labor announced on August 1 (local time) that nonfarm payrolls in the United States increased by 73,000 in July compared to the previous month.
This figure is significantly below the expert forecast of 100,000 compiled by Dow Jones.
The unemployment rate was 4.2%, in line with expert expectations.
