This project is part of the "Emergency Support Project for Climate-Vulnerable Groups" implemented by KHNP. By providing professional cleaning of air conditioning and heating units in senior centers, the project helps improve indoor air quality and contributes to the prevention of respiratory diseases. Additionally, after cleaning, the efficiency of both cooling and heating increases, which reduces power consumption and leads to lower energy costs. This has received positive feedback.

Nam Younggyu, Director of External Cooperation at Kori Nuclear Headquarters, who attended the signing ceremony, stated, "Protecting the elderly, who are most vulnerable to environmental changes in this era of climate crisis, is an important social responsibility for our society. We will continue to expand practical support for climate-vulnerable groups in cooperation with the local community."

This summer, Kori Nuclear Headquarters, through KHNP's "Emergency Support Project for Climate-Vulnerable Groups," has implemented various initiatives, including purchasing and installing wall-mounted air conditioners for vulnerable households, providing special meals of "Jeonbok Ae Sikhye" to households with disabled family members and severely disabled individuals living at home, and supplying cooling blankets to low-income elderly people living alone. The headquarters has also been making continuous efforts to improve local welfare and the regional environment by providing goods to vulnerable groups and supporting other welfare initiatives.
