50,000 Won per Day for Hospitalization, 30,000 Won for Outpatient Treatment
Coverage for Up to 30 Days
Hana Insurance announced on August 1 that it has launched the industry's first driver insurance rider, the "Car-to-Car Accident Hospitalization and Outpatient Rider," which helps to alleviate the burden of medical expenses resulting from car accidents.
This rider provides cash compensation of 50,000 won per day for hospitalization and 30,000 won per day for outpatient treatment, for up to 30 days, if hospitalization or outpatient treatment is required due to an accident between cars.
If the injury level from a car accident is between grades 1 and 11, both hospitalization and outpatient treatment are covered.
The insurance premium has been designed to be affordable, reducing the burden for new subscribers. Existing policyholders of the "No-dividend Hana Comprehensive Driver Accident Insurance" can also easily add this rider.
For a 40-year-old male with a 20-year term, the additional monthly premium for hospitalization and outpatient daily allowance riders is approximately 400 won.
A Hana Insurance representative stated, "We will continue to develop innovative products that are closely connected to our customers' lives."
