Tongyang Life Insurance announced on August 1 that it held a town hall meeting at its Gran Seoul headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to mark one month since CEO Seong took office.
CEO Seong organized the event to share his vision for the company's future direction with employees and to build consensus on this vision. This was his first official communication event since assuming his position.
Approximately 120 executives and employees attended the event in person. The session was broadcast live through the company's internal network, allowing staff from branches nationwide to participate as well.
During the event, CEO Seong candidly shared his thoughts on key management issues, the future direction Tongyang Life Insurance should pursue, and organizational change.
He actively communicated with employees in an open atmosphere by answering both pre-submitted and on-site questions.
CEO Seong stated, "Tongyang Life Insurance has grown into a leading life insurance company over the past 35 years," and added, "Now, with the solid foundation of Woori Financial Group, let us strive to become a company that continues to grow sustainably for the next 50 and even 100 years."
