Yeonggwang Livestock Cooperative announced on July 31 that it held a “Love Bok Samgyetang Sharing” event over two days, July 28 and 29, to support the healthy summer of its employees and local elderly residents during the height of summer.

During the event, a total of 220 servings of livestock products were shared, including 100 servings of Samgyetang for employees and 120 servings donated to the Gunseo-myeon Sharing Refrigerator. The event was part of the “Sharing Livestock Movement,” a voluntary social contribution initiative within the livestock industry.

This donation event for the Gunseo-myeon Sharing Refrigerator was organized to provide nutritious health food to elderly residents struggling to maintain their health due to the ongoing heatwave, and to foster a warm culture of sharing within the local community.

Kim Yongchul, president of Yeonggwang Livestock Cooperative, stated, “Yeonggwang Livestock Cooperative continues to share Boknal meals every year with neighbors in need and vulnerable groups in order to be a cooperative that lives together with the local community,” and added, “We will continue to deliver warmth to the region in the future.”
