Shin Sang-jin Encourages Frontline Workers
at the 'Cultural Healing Workshop for Senior Customized Care Service Workers'
On the afternoon of July 31, Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin attended the 'Cultural Healing Workshop for Senior Customized Care Service Workers' held at Yatap CGV and encouraged frontline workers.

Approximately 400 people, including life support workers and social workers from eight institutions responsible for Seongnam's senior customized care services, participated in the workshop.
Mayor Shin said, "I would like to thank all of you who are working hard in the field to ensure the safety and health of our seniors, even in the ongoing heat wave," and added, "At least for today, I hope you can set aside the burdens of daily life and enjoy your time."
He continued, "I will continue to make efforts to improve your working conditions and treatment, as you work with a sense of duty even in difficult environments."
This event provided participants with opportunities for rest and revitalization through healing recreation (a magic show) and a movie screening.
Meanwhile, Seongnam City is currently providing various senior customized care services, such as checking in on well-being, conducting safety checks, accompanying seniors to hospitals, and supporting daily life, for 4,750 seniors aged 65 and older who are in need of care.
