Special Online Shopping Mall Event for Two Months in August and September
Uiseong County in North Gyeongsang Province will host the "3rd Uiseong Sale Pe Star" on its online shopping mall "Uiseong Jangnal" for two months, from August 1 to September 30, 2025, in order to expand online sales channels and promote consumption of local agricultural and specialty products.
The Uiseong Sale Pe Star is the most prominent promotional event held on "Uiseong Jangnal." During the event period, all products will be offered at discounts of up to 20 percent, and livestock products will be available at a 10 percent discount.
Through this event, Uiseong County aims to increase the number of visitors and purchase rates on the online shopping mall, and to foster "Uiseong Jangnal" as the core platform for local agricultural product distribution through regular planned events.
In particular, the county is operating a variety of participatory events, such as new member registration, friend referrals, and purchase review submissions, to attract new customers and encourage repeat purchases from existing customers. This strategy is designed to simultaneously secure stable sales channels for local farmers and strengthen competitiveness in the online market.
Kim Jusu, the governor of Uiseong County, stated, "Uiseong Sale Pe Star is not just a simple discount event, but a practical distribution platform where local agriculture and consumers can coexist and benefit together. We will continue to develop this as an effective event that realizes both consumer satisfaction and increased income for farmers, thereby enhancing the sustainability and competitiveness of Uiseong agriculture."
Uiseong County plans to use this event as an opportunity to further solidify the foundation for the growth of its online distribution channels and to continuously pursue strategies that enhance the brand value of local agricultural and specialty products.
